Robert Baksa Octet and Nonet. MHS 512446/312446. One of the most beautiful recordings I have participated in. The composer lives in New York but this music is almost Brahmsian in its sweep. The Octet is for winds, the Nonet for winds & strings. CD and cassette both deleted from catalog. Now released on Albany Records (Troy 534) along with the Quintet for flute and strings.
